General Workshop Format

​Introduction (5 minutes)

​Icebreakers (10 minutes)
Have the workshop leader introduce themselves, provide overview,  timeline of activity and any ground rules.
Give the participants (and leader) the opportunity to get comfortable with each other through an icebreaker that can be connected or not to the primary activity. 

​Primary activity (30 minutes)

​During the main part of the workshop, participants may do an activity that asks them to write, discuss or create something.
First, the activity instructions are explained and clarified.
Second, participants write or work on the activity. Whether the work is independent or collaborative depends on the activity.
Finally, the writing or work is shared with the group. There is discussion of process, ideas and intent. 
Time can be provided at end to plan the next meeting!
